Since we were on vacation the first week of this month our eating out budget is blown but I haven't spent anything yet at the grocery store. I am in and since it is just food I will try for 50-75 a week for the 5 of us.

Did a quick trip to WalMart today and I'm up to $73.89 for the week. I budgeted $75, so I am actually under by $1.11!!!

We are in transition right now - moving to the east coast. So, we've been living with other people and then move next week. If there is something like this next month, I'd love to be apart! So much better doing it with some accountability!

Bad for us - I spent $125 - but we had a picnic & most of that was food for the picnic & beer/wine. But I did not go back like I was going to - I was going to go to the grocery on Sunday to get what we needed for the week, but after the picnic & looking at my budget & how I was over, I told him that we were just going to have to eat what we have first. So Lets see, I am over by $50, so does that mean that I can make it up by only spending $50 for the last two weeks?

Went shopping today, budget of $200 for the month and I have 45.87 left. Still a week to go, yay me!!
