I make my own baked goods (breads, rolls, pizza crust, cookies, cakes, etc.), greeting cards, waffles, pancakes, and some of my cleaners.

Tortillas, cinnamon rolls, pizza dough, brownies--still searching for that *perfect* recipe for each, but even the flops taste pretty good! I use various mixtures of water, Dawn, Borax, and vinegar to clean just about everything--except toilets: toilets get Clorox

I make almost everything homemade.. except.. pasta, tortilla chips, and syrup. My family hates processed, store canned foods, and we are not big junk food people. I bake waffles, pancakes, muffins, bread, cakes, brownies, etc. from scratch. I can buy a five pound bag of organic unbleached all purpose white flour for $2.50, 10 pounds organic sugar for $7.99. One waffle mix cost half the price of the sugar..
As for cleaners.. vinagar all the way.. except for my dishwasher soap.. it is costco brand though
laundry.. i use store bought detergent until i find a big enough bucket with a lid to store homemade detergent. In the rinse cycle i use vinagar. No dryer sheets.. unless my mom gives them to me (sometimes she buys them and says they stink).
I freeze and can fruit and veggies on sale and from my garden.
I make repairs on clothing and use scraps for "hobo" blankets and rags. But it is cheaper to buy clothing on clearance for the next season rather than make it.

I use white vinegar for most of my cleaning (glass, mopping, counters, etc.) I also put 1/4 c. of it in my rinse aid cycle in my dishwasher, and they come out sparkling.
I make my own soaps, candles & lotions and also most of my toiletries.
I make my own baby wipes (witch hazel, lavendar/chamomile essential oil, and cut paper towels)
I bake 2 loaves of fresh bread every day, and make my own sweet tea and lemonaide.
I cut and freeze most of my veggies (I get surplus from the farmers around here with their bumper crops), and I'm just starting to get into canning.
I have recipes for balms, lotions, etc, and most of the stuff you can make around your house.
Not only does it save us money, but it's also fun! =]
The only thing I can't live without is my SOFT toilet paper. lol.

DH and I just started making homemade pizzas instead of ordering out. They take less than 10 minutes to put together (not baking time) when we're both making them and they are GREAT. My favorite is broccoli, red onion, and garlic! The pizzas we make at home compare to those you get at a restaurant for 15-20 bucks, and while they are still more expensive than cardboard pizzas, to me they are a better value - better for us (less preservatives), and they taste so much better!
I also make my own cleaners and just about everything food related except for tortillas, tortilla chips, bread.... and I think that's it.

We've started making home made pizza and almost all of the sweet snacks that we have at home.
