After speaking with a friend that is having some money issues- I told her to invest in vinegar- it has many different ways to use it (help save money on cleaning products and other uses).

Can anyone give me examples of some of the different ways you use vinegar?

I make a solution (like 3:1 or 4:1) of vinegar and water, and I mop my floors, clean my countertops, and wash my windows (use old newsprint! it works amazing!) with it.

I also use it as a rinse agent in my dishwasher and a fabric softener in my wahsing machine.

I use it mainly for cleaning. But once my bottle of shampoo runs out, I will be using it for shampoo too. I know there is a recipe for the shampoo on this site.

We put it on french fries! ~ but that doesn't save money.

Vinegar for me is a food. I can drink the stuff out of the packets at McDonalds. I have trouble thinking about it for cleaning. I should try it though.

My mom and I use it to kill weeds in cracks of the walk ways.. It works over night.
