I did sign up for a train waiting for an opening
ok near me we have a Jewel's (kind of expensive unless coupon and a good sale) Fareway is kind of out of the way but kinda worth it if a good sale, wal-mart, aldi's and sullivans. I do have dollar store that take coupons, and hy-vee. If I were to drive into to sterling there is a krogger's and couty market. I know krogger's has some real good sale's, just I don't live in the area that get's their sales flyers

I must say that I am new to stock piling and have become a wee bit addicted. Due to cvs ecb last month I have enough kotex, playtex, shampoo, condition, mouth wash, toothpaste, and toothbrushes for the next year and a half.....the sick part is that if the same deals were still active I would go back for more. I can't even to begin to describe how excited I get when I find a new cvs in my area. Haven't heard much about what the ecb specials will be this month but am anxious to find out.

I do most of my shopping at walmart, but I've stepped back. I figured out that I could save more if I went to the other grocery stores and shopped thier sales with my coupons. And so far its working, my stockpile is getting pretty big, and my freezer is full. I have enought meat in there for a few months. I still shop walmart, but just for my non sale items. And I can use coupons there too, but they don't save me as much. Walmart won't double coupons. But they will pricematch, so sometimes thats worth it.

If you want to check out Krogers (we don't havethose up north) They most likely have a a website, or they post thier flyer online. Check it out there. Good luck!!

I have:

toothpaste - I think I'm finally down to 11 boxes from 50 though
toothbrushes
deoderant
razors - walgreen's had the venus on sale for $3.00 and I have $3.00 off coupons - I have about 20 of those in addition to other kinds
shampoo/cond - fructiess (sp?) picked those up for $1.50 each when they were on sale and I had the $1.00 coupon - and to top it off, I picked up the ones that had the bonus shampoo/cond attached to them. My husband just rolled his eyes.
betty crocker gummies - i believe they are going bad since my son doesn't eat them as much - have a ton of them.
barilla pasta - on sale for .50 cents each, had a .50 cent off 3 coupon which tripled = FREE - have 20 + boxes, PLUS, I picked up about 15 boxes for one sister and gave coupons to my other for the same amt.

I think that's really it - I'm kinda slacking lately.....

I live in northern CA (Sacramento area). I have been unable to find any stores nearby that double coupons. I noticed that you mentioned double coupons for toothpaste. What stores have you found in CA that double coupons?

We have a lot of toothpaste and toothbrushes too! I also have a lot of hair gel and conditioner. I use gel like 3 times a year so its going to last Forever! lol
I had 70 boxes of mac and cheese but donated some and gave some to SIL b/c I was out of storage space. I also have tampons and salsa in my stockpile. I wish my Walgreens would take internet coupons...then I would have a lot more!

I didn't even know people did this. I'm learning so much here! I generally wait until we're nearly out of toothpaste until I put it on the list for the next week and then I just get the one that is on sale that week. I don't think we stockpile anything. Perhaps I should but I'm not sure where I'd keep it all.

right now I have so much mac and cheese I wont need any until the year 2010! I dont understand how people get like 100 or 200 of something? Is that possible with out being on a coupon train?

Do I underatand this? IN a coupon train the first person puts all the coupons they dotn want in a envelope and sends it to the next person on the list then that person gets it and gets to take the ones they want and then puts what they have that they dotn want itno the envelope and sends it on? How does the first person benifit from this and the last person is just getting all the left overs?????
