I know this has been asked before, but my bill just came and I was wondering what other people pay. Our gas and electric is on 1 bill, and we have the balanced budget plan.

Over the last week I've really been trying to keep the electric down by turning off lights, unplugging things, etc.

Well yours is extremely cheap!! Our electric averages from about $230 to $270 a month. Our gas ranges from $20 to $300 depending on whether it is summer or winter and how cold it is. Of course we do have 7 to 9 people and 3 dogs living here at all times



ETA: I guess that $230-$270 is actually our bill from the city and it includes electric and sewer/water.

We're over $240/month for electric and we pay $257/month on a budget for gas.

Within the last six months but our bill has increased but our usage decreased. We were paying $130 per month on the average payment plan and now it is $180. I decreased our usage by about 25% compared to last year.

We just put in a new heating/central air unit last year. We pay the same amount each month based on our average usage. This year our bill came down $30 to $142. We are all electric so no gas bill.

Everything is electric, so no gas for us. We are on budget billing and it's about $200 a month.

Our electric depends on the season and how many Christmas lights I put out. In summer, it's highest, around $150, less in winter. Gas is around $20-30 in summer, around $100 in winter. Will probably be more this winter though, and a lot depends on the weather.

Ours is about $200 a month.

Equal payment plan.

Electric $113 a month
Gas $96 a month.
