Just wondering as I've got my xmas list done (as far as what everyone wants, not that we bought it yet ). I would like to keep it to $400. We have half in our xmas club at our bank so we know the kids gifts will be taken care of. We hope to get some good sales on black Friday this year.

I'm in charge of our Christmas shopping, and both sides of the family have agreed to keep things small the past several years. I'll probably spend ~$250 total (about $15 per person). I shop clearance year-round, and most gifts are already purchased.

I would love to have a budget of $400.00 but it's just not possible with our family, as there are so many of us. We will probably end up spending between $800.00 and $1000.00

Ideally, it would be $1000, but I am thinking more like $800 since we have ours in a stock plan and the stocks have dropped dramatically. We still have about another month before we'd like to take it out, so hopefully it will go up a little before then.

I've been watching Amazon like a hawk and think I can keep our spending under $300. I already have the neices and nephews gifts and spent about $40 there. I'm buying stuff to make tile trivets to the Great Grandparents and Aunts/Uncles from DD and stuff to make garden stones for her grandparents. Then just a couple gifts in a jar to round those gifts out. All that is left if DD , DH, myself, and soon to come DD.

Just an FYI: I have to buy for dh, mom, dad, mil and sd, 2 grandmas, ds, dd, sister, 2 teachers. The kids will probably get half the budget (unless dh goes overboard).

I was budgeting for $1,500-$2,000 but my family has decided to not do gifts and celebrate Christmas for its true meaning. My DH's side, however, they like to do about 4 presents a piece but he is going to tell them to budget this year $50 a person or $100 a couple....which would make my budget $600 or so!!!

My DH and I started last year doing our "big" gift from each other a $100 gift card from whatever clothing store we want. Then the day after Christmas we get up super early and go shopping together. I help him pick out the cheap clearance stuff and he helps me. So, it isn't just a gift card, it is a whole morning together. Then we went out for pancakes and talked about our Christmas.
