I went perusing through the Splitcoastal Stampers site and looked at their card swaps. A neat one that caught my attention was this:

Description: This swap is to create full cards, with a bookmark as an enclosure or part of the card. It can be a “normal” bookmark, clippie bookmark or the corner of the page bookmark. If you love reading as much as I do, you are always using something to mark you place. Be creative and have fun.

Make a card with a bookmark. They had the themes as:
Thank you
Congrats
Thinking of you

I thought it would be a little different and a good way to get some Thank you, Congrats, or thinking of you cards! Any of the three are good for me. I need all three!

I like that idea too. We have done a swap with bookmarks back in the past but not all were with a card.

What does everyone else think?

I love this idea! I would really love to do a "thinking of you" type card. Maybe even a blank all occation card. I never have enough of those that i can turn into whatever I need.

All occasion sounds good. That way the recipient can get a little gift, too. My grandmother loves to read and I know she'd appreciate this card!!

I think that we will go for the book mark one that was brought up. I will start a new thread for it.

I am sooo sorry. The cards will be in the mail in the morning. I thought I mailed them but they got set aside and mixed in with the others. With the holidays and all the relatives here, I haven't been to the post office in a while. They will be in the mail in the morning.... I promise.
