Kit swap

Hey...I just saw this while browsing around another site I found. It is a kit swap. I will pick out the patterned paper and you choose what you would like to contribute. Then I will send you kit to you when I get everyones contribution. I am going to town tomorrow so I can pick up some patterned paper....I will get 14 sheets (2 sheets for each person in the swap). Then you can get whatever you choose and send it to me including shipping ($3.17) for me to send you your kit.

Once I get the paper tomorrow I will post it so you can match your items to the paper.

Holy Cow! I went shopping for paper today and it was hard to choose! I havn't been to a scrapbook scrapbook store in awhile! I was quite overwhelmed. I tried to get something that everyone could use for boy or girl. There were tons of papers that I loved that had flowers on them and some were blue colors so they could have been for boys too. But...here is what I finally settled on....

I want to join!!! I'll send BRADS!! This sounds REALLY cool!! Also, I'll look for eyelets and send some of them too if I can get them to cordinate with the paper!

I found this article in Scrapbook Answers OCt 2006 issue:
Create your own kit:
~2 pieces of complementary cardstock
~ 1 piece patterned paper that has a small print
~ 1piece of patterned paper in medium sized print
~1 piece of patterned paper in large print
~3 pieces 12 inch ribbon
~ 1 sheet alphabet stickers or rub ons
~1 pack metal brads or other colorful embellishment

I think mommyfink has it all covered but I thought I'd share this for anyone who is thinking of making her own kit! I totally love this idea!!

Yes, send 7 sets of whatever you are assigned. It doesn't have to be exactly the same, say you have some misc. chipboard...as long as it matches the paper send enough to be split between 7 people.

As soon as I get everyones part I will send out your sets! Remember.....send shipping for me to send it back to you!
