To keep the card swaps more "standard" so to speak, why not have a monthly card swap! Here is what I propose. The monthly theme will be posted at the first of the month and sign up until the middle (say 15th) and due by the end of the month (say 30th). My thinking is that it will be the same time frame each month so everyone gets to know the timing of things. What do you think??

I am not sure that I would participate each month but I do like the idea of it being more organized and so it is always consistent and you would know if it was a card theme that you liked when to participate and when to send your card, etc.

I agree that having it more consistant would be nice. Then everyone would have a schedule of when it's due, when it's mailed, and when they should expect it. JMO however, I think that if it's posted on the 1st of the month to start sign up, then we wouldn't have to wait until the 15th to close it ~ seems too long to wait for final #'s. Since it's the same, everyone should expect it, so maybe cut it off on the 10th (or maybe even eariler ~ it's just sign up ya know?). I know that with mailing time, and creating time, I would like more than a week to get them done.

Great. Maybe having the first week of the month for sign ups and then close which leaves 3 weeks for creation and mailing time. I just feel the swaps will run more smoothly this way.

I am having issues accessing the board at home so I will go ahead and post the September Theme this afternoon. Any requests? I was thinking of Christmas so everyone can start early.
