I don't know exactly how this would work. Because 1) punches are pricey and 2) postage would be on the high side

Would it be like a "normal" swap where we go and buy one of whatever, send it to you and you redistribute it?

But it sounded like a few of us have some punches hanging around that we don't use.

Kelli and I briefly talked about this a while ago. Like maybe do a "Punch Ring" where we all send someone a punch, and it just keeps going around and around. Does that make sense?

But I also think that maybe we might want to keep one along the way too, so I don't know exactly.

I dont' think it would be fair to have everyone go out and buy 5 punches, that would be crazy expensive.

So more of a "train" type swap. What do you think?

Maybe you could do like a punch exchange where you give one that you dont use or buy one and then send it and they send you one back. Like draw names or something. I think a puch train would be expensive to ship you know what i mean?

yeah that is a good idea.

Maybe we should start by listing what we have that we would be willing to ship out to someone.

You all can PM me if you want, list one punch that you HAVE and one punch that you would like to have. Then maybe I can match people up.

Would this just be easier to do in the swaps thread? It would get quite pricey to ship an envelope full of punches around the US.

Well if you do it in a swap thread there is the potential of the same person getting all of the punches, KWIM?

I like the idea of an exchange...so you only send out one, and you get one. It could be a mini secret sister type thing. But it doesn't have to be a brand new item, it can be, but doesn't have to be. It just seemed like a few of us have punches around that we don't use anymore.

I know I have a corner punch that I would have up for grabs, and those are like $10 at the store....so to get that for the price of postage is a good deal...but I would want one punch back, make sense?

Anyone, who is interested, just PM me or post here....and we will go from there.

On a side note, I was at Michael's yesterday and they had a few of the really good punches on clearance for $5!! I got a buckle punch that I can't wait to use!!

If there is not enough interest, then we can scratch this....it was just an idea!
