Ok I did this on another board and I really like the idea! So here are the details.

The idea is each person would make up one index card for each of the other participants. So if twenty people sign up you would make 19, unless you want one to keep for yourself too, then make 20. Come on everyone...let's make a complete box of Mommysavers!

The details:

1. Use 6 x 4 heavy cardstock or index card for your base.
2. Keep them horizontal so we are all consistent.
3. On the front, include a 2 x 3 picture of yourself along with your name, address, Mommysavers ID, birthday and email address. On the back include your favorite quote, saying or phrase.
4. Alter/embellish both sides in your own style. You could use ribbon, brads, eyelets, fibers, chipboard, flowers, buttons, charms… etc.
5. Use a minimum of two patterned papers and three embellishments.

** Please include in your package a self-addressed mailer and put the same amount of postage it cost you plus some extra in a ziplock labeled with your name. I will return any unused postage in your package.

I know that Sara has done this before. I would give this till July1st since there could potentially be a lot of cards to make.

We could even omit the picture part if you wanted. Maybe replace it with a pic of your favorite scrapbooking supplies or whatever you want! I have mine filed in an ice cream container that I cleaned out and altered. It works perfect and all I have to do is flip through the cards and find the address of the person that I am sending something too.

Here is an example of somebody elses since I forgot to make a copy of mine! LOL I used this one because she actually used "skittles" and stickles on it!

I was thinking about doing this on here too but then I thought about how much work this is and we do have an addy list to go off of.

But....the index cards are nice. Everyones personality at your finger tips....and I am always loosing my MS addy list.

I still have to get a container to put the WISCRAPPERS cards in.

Anyway....I am in Sonja! I just gotta get hoppin on this or I will never get done. This is gonna be a job! There are a lot of us on this board!

I know that is why I thought if I could give us a couple of months it might not be so bad. The other one we had like 3 weeks and I was dying! LOL

I got some really cute tab thingys from Stacey that would be perfect for this project so I think I will design the index cards around those.

How many are you thinking we might have? Do you know how many "regulars" we have here on the board?
