Do you take your child to the mall to see the Easter Bunny? Are they frightened? Do you buy the picture they take?

I haven't. I took him to see santa Christmas of 07 and he cried and screamed the whole time. I am guessing he would be afraid.

We've never taken the girls to the mall to see the Easter bunny or Santa.

The river club we belong to has parties for the children and they always have the Easter bunny visit and take pictures.. My 6yr old will stand next to the bunny and my 3yr old will not go anywhere near him!

DD1 loves seeing the Easter Bunny and we usually buy the picture. DD2 is scared beyond belief and I don't push her.

We always do Santa, but don't always get around to the Easter Bunny!

Last year ds3 screamed while sitting on Santa, so he wasn't in the picture with his older brothers. I would love to get them out to see the EB this year, but I'm having a baby shower at my house on Saturday so I'm pretty sure I'm not gonna find time to do it this year! (unless we get out Saturday night)

I do always buy the pictures. Photos are one thing I almost always buy!

I took our kids to see the Easter bunny at a local store. Our youngest is 12 months old and she wasn't afraid. She sat on his lap, pulled his nose (she also pulled Santa's real beard), got down and was a little flirty with him. I don't know if it's because I'm standing there but our kiddos usually aren't afraid of the EB or SC.
I also took pictures with my own camera because I'm too cheap to pay for their pictures. If you ask they will let you do that--at least that's been our experience.

My 4 year old was really brave and had his picture taken, but when we were in the car a little while later he said "Mom, that bunny really kinda freaked me out a little". It was funny.

I usually do a picture with Santa and the Easter bunny. I put them in a frame from each year and they go on my hall table as holiday decorations. This year, the line at the mall was sooooooooooooo long, that we sat our kids on the bench and used their backdrop, which had lots of flowers and a cut out easter bunny and eggs. We had gotten them all dressed up so we took our own pictures. They came out great..I went home and made my own cards! Talk about saving money. My kids did not even notice that they didn't get the picture with the real thing!

I usually go to the mall a few times to let them see Santa wave to him, then I tell them we'll come back another day to see him, before I actually go for a picture. So they have time to let it soak in.
This year Walmart was doing free pictures last Sat & Sun and I took a picture too so I could get more copies for Easter cards. I think he's there this Sat. too.
