Same here with my ds, same age. He will have his fork talk to his plate and fly and nothing else is going on around him. He will eat a little better if he doesn't have an afternoon snack. But you could still starve a bird on what he eats. It is so frustrating the take a bite take another bite, I almost want to go over and spoon feed him. No advice here, looking for suggestions too!

I dont know , my dd takes so long she rarely finishes breakfast before we have to go.

With my kids, it depends on what I fix and how hungry they are. Sometimes, everyone is done about the same time, other times, they are still playing around with their food and talking too much to eat..

My kids are quick, but I really just make things I know they are going to like. Which for the DD who is 3 years old, isnt that much variety. If we have something she doesnt like she takes longer. But we usually eat at the table, with no tv or anything to distract.
