Ds (3 1/2) went through a major growth spurt from age 2-3. He has since tappered off. However, just recently he has started eating up a storm again. We just measured him and it appears as though he has grown about 3 1/2 inches since last summer . That seems like a lot!!

The kid is wearing size 5T pants.....he's so tall but skinny. They practically fall down to his knees. I have found some cool pants with waist adjusters at Old Navy. They are HALF the cost as those found at the Gap and fit him ten times better ~ just an FYI for those of you with skinny bean pole kids!

Thank you for the info my son and daughter are tall and skinny that we have been trying to find clothes that fit is impossible my son has been rolling the top over to keep them on. I tried to pin them but the safety pins pop open. I don't sew to well. Will have to find an old navy store thanks.

Old Navy's pants are really nice too. Very comparable to what Gap and Gymboree have in store too. I just prefer the price of Old Navy and their waist adjustment feature better than what the other two offer. Oh and right now their pants are on for $10 (in store). I have khaki, brown, olive green, and navy blue. He can wear these to church or casually to preschool too!

Here's a link:

Another style ~ unsure of the adjustable waist
