I think it's so cute how kids can make up their own words. Let's share some of the things our kids try and say!!

Here's a few examples to get us started.

Since moving to Oklahoma, Zach my three and a half year old has had a hard time pronouncing Oklahoma. He instead says "Opahoma"

When we zerbert him, wet sloppy ones of course, he always wipes his cheek and says "that's dissgussking"!!!

When we read the very hungry cattippilar, my son goes through and names all that he has eaten through and when he gets to cupcake he says cup a cake.

We will be cleaning up and I will tell my ds to pick something else up, Instead of saying his hands are full, he'll say, " But mom, I'm full of hands!" It is so cute!

We went downtown Chicago this past weekend. They have a huge lighted tree near the Kristkindl Market. She says "that's the biggest tree, I never seen"!

DD (almost 3) came out with this word a few days ago when we were looking at the Christmas "pretties" : Gortiful (gorgous and beautifull). She told dh tonight that it means beautifull.

I also love to hear her say yellow. She pronounces/replaces the ll with a y sound! I know and hope that it will go away, but it is sooo cute!

DS/7 said for the longest time NAK-kum for napkin which spawned lots of variations at his best friend's house - kissum's, huggum's etc, lol. He also loved to eat at Chick-Buff-lay (Chik-fil-A)

DS/11 called my other son ZaZa which isn't close to Alex until he was 2 when he called him A-lis. I was sad to see ZaZa go. so cute.

DS/13 hung onto kazzert (dessert) well into kindergarten, lol
