Sometimes at people. Any suggestions of making him stop? A lot of times I'll take away whatever he is drinking, and that SOMETIMES helps, but other times. It's a little embarrassing when he does it out in public or to people outside of the family.

Add this to my list of things my daughter never did.

Spitting and biting were two things I had zero tolerance for. My youngest spit once and I got right in her face with a firm No! and she has never done it again.

My little one does the same thing from time to time. It is just him figuring out the cool things his body can do. Try not to make a big deal about it. Try to teach him the good times to do it like after you brush his teeth and allow it in the tub. Try ignoring the other time as much as you can. 2 year olds love getting attention any way they can...positive or negative. Make a huge deal when he does it in an appropriate time and try to ignore it otherwise.

Glad to hear that it isn't just a boy thing. You know, he did get a reaction out of the teen that lives with us the first couple of times he did it. I'll keep that in mind about when he brushes his teeth and make it more of a game there, especially since he hates brushing his teeth.
