This never was a problem with DD. She takes after her daddy and is gifted with the ability to speak. DS ... he's a bit more like his mommy.

His recent word is "Drink." Only without the R and the N. Comes out more like part of the male anatomy.

So today. DH was with DS in Blockbuster Video and DS dropped his drink which, naturally, spills all over the floor. And then to add to the embarrassment (for my DH) DS is over there yelling, at the top of his lungs, "Drink, Daddy! Drink! Drink!" Only, remember, it is minus the R and the N.

Thank goodness I was with DD down at the fabric store.

Team him up with my DS . He can not say the word- war, it comes out wh*re. A while ago, in Target he announced he wanted the movie Star Wh*res instead of star wars.

DD does not get TR, which she replaces with a C. So every truck on the road sounds a bit different. We understand it, but she goes around telling every one this and they ask "what?". I jump in immediately and say, "look it's a truck". Fork also loses it "r" and sounds a bit funny.

my dd loves pumpkins. she calls them "funkins". when we carved them she kept yelling "funkins, mommy, funkins". my ds's kept laughing and saying she needed to put quarters in the cus cup! just this a.m. at the bus stop, she points across the street at the pumpkins on the neighbors porch and starts yelling "allie loves funkins" reallly loud! she also cannot pronounce "fork"!!!

My girls are the same way. My oldest never had any speech issues and always talked like little grown up. My youngest on the other hand has several words which she leaves letters out of, etc. Her sister is always sure to correct her.

My DD's is ice. It's her recent thing at restaurants to eat the small pieces of ice from water glasses. But she has to wait uuntil they melt small enough. Ass, mama! Gimme ass!!!
