What is the best way to get a 18 month old use to a Toddler bed?? We had to switch him to a toddler bed 2 weeks ago because he climbed out of his crib several times... But now I cant get him to lay down and go to sleep in it. He always falls asleep on the floor then I move him after he is asleep. We bought him a new bedding set and have it set up in the same spot as his crib was.

Try misting a pillow or the sheets with your perfume or dad's cologne. If it is a familiar scent he will want to stay close to it and breathe it in. The deeper breathing will help him fall asleep.

It usually just takes time. Just keep doing what you are
