Do your kids have any irrational fears? What are they?

DD is pretty fearless. She says she is afraid of the dark because she knows other kids are so she thinks she should, too.

Wyatt really isn't a fearful kid. There were a couple of days that he was afraid of the dark but it didn't last long.

Now Riley on the other hand is afraid of the dark and is very cautious when it comes to alot of things. He used to be totally afraid of going to movie theaters and the trailers for movies on dvds. Don't ask me why.

I don't know yet about the two little ones but my oldest is pretty fearless. The only thing she has been been afraid of is the commercial for that Safe Side video, the one with John Walsh. It cracks me up because they talk about how the video is never scary but she's afraid of just the commercial!

My 7 year old daughter is completely afraid of the electricity going out. If it is raining when she goes to bed, she'll get up several times crying about it. I don't get it. She has a flashlight by her bed in preparation.

My 4 year old doesn't seem to be too afraid of anything. What's funny is that if her older sister acts afraid of something, she will copy it.

She is pretty fearless thos after 2 years of jumping and playing on a balance beam at gymnastics she got a small time where she was scared of falling off!! My oldest (7, but a boy) is also terrified of Shrek for some reason. He recently watched the movie for the first time and seemed to like it quite a bit, but doesn't want anything to do with the character's toys and such. Heaven help us when friends get him Shrek stuff for his birthday and such. (Out of town friends that don't see him and his irrational fears on a daily basis.)

My kids right now are freaking out about bugs. That is driving me crazy as we live in Florida and there are bugs. Not scary, big bugs either, but just little bugs that are NO BIG DEAL even to me!!!!
