My ds is 2 and has eczema. He uses elidel, but his scalp is still flaky and I need something to put on his head when I can't used the elidel. Any suggestions?

I swear on my child that I do not sell Arbonne, but I bought some for my sister who had terrible trouble with eczema and she loves it. I bought the baby kit - it had lotion and oil. I have heard several times before that you can use lotion as a styling product if you are stuck, so maybe a little of the lotion on his head would be fine. Once again, I do not sell it (no offense to those who do....). I'm sure there are other great products on the market, but she has literally tried everything and had very little success. Just thought I would share! Good luck!

When my eczema gets really bad on my scalp I use Listerine as a rinse. My hair smells like Listerine for a few days afterwards but it really helps - better than coal tar shampoo.

I have started using the Salon Selson Blue shampoo and it has really helped with my dry scalp. Perhaps if you used that just occasionally too it would help him.

Thanks for all who posted. I had to give them a bath before supper last night because his eczema was acting up and he was so uncomfortable. I put some skin so soft in the bath water and it worked like a charm! His scalp isn't flaky today and his skin stays moisturized.

I heard that Listerine was good for dandruff so I use it on my dds hair....here hair is really long and sometimes she dont get all the shampoo out so I just it on her about once a week.....it says to pour it on there hair before washing it so that is what I do so then she doesn't have that strong smell....it is faint, but clean smell on her....and then I read also where it keep lice away....so that it another great plus with LIsterine

I was once told that crushed asprin in generic shampoo would work. I've never tried it and I only heard it the once...but you never know.
