Well, I've posted on here before about starting to potty train my 2 yr. ds. I noticed that he tends to dribble in between having to pee. Today we tried it sans underwear. He is playing in the living room next to the potty chair and literally every 2 min. sits on it because he dribbles. Is it that he doesn't understand the urge to pee or maybe he has a uti? Suggestions, opinions, anything would help! Maybe we started too young. I don't know but I'll need a bottle of wine after the kiddies are in bed tonight!

In my expierence (my 2 and a few daycare boys) close to 3 or even 3 is a good age to start for boys, otherwise I found it a waste of time. JMO I got lucky with my son and he was fully (not at night) trained 2 months shy of 3.

I trained my son at 26 months (during the day, not at night) because he knew how to use the DVD player so I figured he could figure out the toilet. It took 2 weeks but it was worth it. Maybe your son hasn't figured out the urge yet. I just started training my daughter today (she is 22 months) and she has peed in three pairs of training underwear this morning. We just keep going over the same thing. She'll get it eventually.

You might call the dr.'s office and see what they say. Taking him in for a urinalysis should be no big deal.
