Yeah, my 4 y/r doesnt nap anymore either. But has to have "quiet time" she can sit on the couch and watch cartoons or color (my other 2 still nap!)... as long as she is quiet.

I have 2 5 yr olds during the day and I love to strech out on the couch for 20 minutes. The only time I can do this is if I put Spongebob on the only program that glues them! I try very hard to tire them out this week has been harder with Spring Break and yukky weather. Today we had a run up the stair contest 1 at a time. I have carpeted stairs and no one was hurt, but it does ware them down!

I honestly do not know how parents whose kids don't nap do it. I need that one to two hours to recoup. My oldest son took naps til he was about five and now he knows he needs to have quiet time in his room during the afternoon.
Wyatt is 3.5 and he still naps....thank God!!!

I put a baby gate on both my boys bedroom doors when they were little. They got use to not being able to get out of their room and they learned to take a nap or play quietly.
