The thing is my ds IS ready. He KNOWS when he is going, but refuses to tell me. There are days where he will get all excited and run to the potty yelling, "I go pee! I go pee!" And I know he knows because he grabs himself when he pees in his pull up. The trick is to get him to the pot every single time, catchin him before the accident. Leaving him in wet pants or a poopy pull up means nothing to him. Doesn't phase him! Ugh he is such a boy!!

I must have gotten lucky with my boys. My oldest he turned 3 in April and we started training in June. He got 2 m & m's for pee and 5 for a poo however the poo took longer so we happened upon a garage sale where we found a tube of Dinosaurs. He wanted them so bad (had never been open) I bought them on the condtion that he could have them when he had a poo poo in the potty. We displayed them on the window in the bathroom. It took about 3 days and only 1 poo poo and that was it.

My younger one made it his idea a month or so shy of 3 we did the candy again not working for the poo. Daddy took him to Target picked out a toy under $5.00 became his incentive, took 4 days he did it. Now yes he has had a couple of accidents here and there but all in all is trained. Now if I can only get him out of a pullup at night. We have gone 2 wks with no pullup at nap
