Get different pieces of construction paper in the colors of the rainbow. Trace your child's hand and get out different colored handprints. On a bigger piece of paper glue the handprints down in the shape of a rainbow with the appropriate colors. DD couldn't cut out the handprints but she helped me glue them down on the big paper.

Very cute idea!!!! I think we will try that.
