My son is going to be three in October and he just LOVES lawnmowers and weed wackers. I'm really not sure where to go with this theme, any suggestions?

My son went through that phase at about that age too. Are you going to have any other kids over? How about a gardening theme. shovels & pals, maybe the kids could plant grass seed in a styrofoam cup they have decorated (my son did this in preschool, it's cute). My son has a battery operated weed wacker (I think we got it at Walmart). It would be pretty easy to make homemade ones though with a wrapping paper tube and a cardboard circle. Maybe the kids could decorate them and have some kind of contest with them. How about glueing a little peice of velcro on the bottom and having them pick something up and drop it into a pail. Maybe you could find two of those bubble lawn mowers and have some kind of race with them (maybe around cones or something). Does he like bob the builder, he does gardening projects on his show too.

Just some thoughts...
