Is it too early for Christmas shopping??? It seems like anything my daughter asks for is really hard to get by the time the holidays roll around. This year she has been asking for a pink kitchen. She has seen the one in Pottery Barn Kids but I just can't bring myself to spend $650! I know Costco has one and another one I found is made by Dexton. Does anyone have any of these and if so how are they holding up? Are there any other ones out there? She really likes the pink retro look. Thanks!

WOW!!! $650.00 for it...that is kind of outrageous. I think I would still try to get her what she wants just maybe a cheaper brand and no way I do not think it is too early to start for C-mas plans/shopping. I usually always try to start in August and picking thngs up as I go and just hiding them in the attic. I make a list of every purchase for each child b/c somehow every year the attic monster loses a few gifts and if I have them written down I KNOW for a fact it was purchased and it has to be there somewhere!!!

i do my christmas shopping all year round and am done completely by thanksgiving. i hate shopping in crowded stores and if you wait till the last minute everything all the kids want is gone. plus i cant afford to do any shopping in winter since my husband is a truck driver and is laid off in the winter so we can barely get by paying the bills(we cant pay all just what we absolutley have to,LOL)

can you make one? No way would I spend that kind of money when there are much cheaper options. I would ask around if they have any big sales and see when or of they will go on clearance.

That is way too much.

I bought my girls a very lovely kitchen by Step 2 on craiglist for $40. It included a dishwasher.

Check out Toys R Us online- they seem to have a few "retro" looking kitchen sets- they are around $150 though- still too expensive for my blood- but easier to swallow compared to $650!
