Default Alphabet pictures

Using old catalogs or magazines have your child cut out pictures that begin with a specific letter of the alphabet. Then have them glue the pictures on a piece of construction paper. You can also find pictures in the coupon inserts of the paper.

We used this when we made our letter posters. I cut big poster board in 4 smaller squares so they would take up less room. The kids cut out pics for that letter and we used colored popsicle sticks to make that letter (they assembled and glued down), we drew some pics b/c we couldn't find pics for some letters and we also taped down the upper and lower case sandpaper letter cards (I had gotten at lakeshore but you can make them easily) for texture. We made one a week (so covering one letter a week). I wish I could say we did the whole alphabet but for some reason I stopped part way through. I need to finish, they were a fun project.
