Force yourself to run around the house or outside with for a few minutes! This may perk you up, and it will get some of the energy out of him and allow him to take a nap! If all else fails, teach him to count to 20 by having him count his jumping jacks! If you're still tired you can lay down with him!

I absolutely, completely understand!!! My 4 year old has enough energy to keep a small country in electricity for a month if we got him running on one of those giant hamster wheels!

Yeah, isn't it crazy? My 3 1/2 year old never seems to be tired (when she's feeling good). She could probably go two or three days before crashing if we didn't make her go to bed. As I write this I am watching her dance around the living room! She NEVER stops- UNLESS she's sick. When she has her belly problems she sleeps a lot and wants to "cuddle". I am actually happy that she is feeling good enough on her crazy days to be CRAZY!!! I guess her stomache problems have made me appreciate the days when she is going like a monkey all over the house!
