Today is my girls first day of school. She was so excited! She goes afternoon 12:30-3, 3 days a week, Tues, wed, & Thurs.
We got ready this morning and then had lunch. I told her she had to eat good to get "brain power" for school. Preschool is at a neighbors house so we can walk there.
I am happy to say that no tears were shed leaving her there. And little dd did ok too. We went to the open house last week and little dd thought it was her school. But we went to Sam's Club and let her do some fun stuff too.

The first day of school is so exciting. I'm glad everyone did well. My oldest went 2 days last year and 5 days a week this year. She typically asks when she goes back as soon as she leaves. I'm happy she has such a good time but thinking... what about Mommy?? Her sister misses her but also enjoys having Mom & toys to herself.

thats great my son is so excited to got to, he starts next wednesday, we visited the school today, he will ride a bus, it is about 8 miles away. and it is in the regular school in our town. i am not too worried about him shedding the tears but i am worried about me shedding them,LOL. he will go 5 days a week except he has one friday off a month. he will go from 11: 30- 2:30, i kinda wish he had every friday off though.
