Thank you so much for referring the DLTK site. I found GREAT stuff on there for my 4 year old son. Printed the Thomas calendar for this month, Veggie tales bingo sheets, several coloring pages, etc. LOVE the site. New to these forums and LUV THEM.

I will be back often.

Anybody have suggestions on working on simple science concepts like seasons, weather etc...? DD was talking about going to college (at the ripe old age of almost 4yrs old) & I told her she had to learn alot before she could go. Well, I mentioned science and she asked "Mommy, what is science?" I had a hard time explainig it, but now she wants to learn science!

Home Education Resources has a science section with topics, websites and printable games, activities and experiments. Maybe that will give you a good start. If she really loves it, there are some magazines out there that are geared towards little ones. National Geographic for Kids & Little Kids, Zootles, Your Big Backyard (publication of National Wildlife Federation).

A GREAT website for learning letters and phonics is Learn to Read at Starfall - teaching comprehension and phonics

Some other educational/fun sites that our kids like are FunBrain.com - The Internet's #1 Education Site for K-8 Kids and Teachers and PBS KIDS
