graham crackers and applesauce or peanut butter
yogurt with crunchies to sprinkle on top? But maybe dairy is taboo if kids have allergies?
popcorn is always a good idea
ants on a log (celery with peanut butter and raisins)

The biggest hit for my ds was one another mom brought. She bought enough bananas for half the kids in her child's class. She then cut them in half, stuck a popsicle stick in the cut end of each one and handed them to the kids. The kids loved them!!! And an all natural snack!

I just did snack for my dd and it was ants on a log and they loved it!

I did cream cheese ones and peanut butter ones as well. I do know though that I am getting "crackered and cookied" out.... Every time I see the snack that is what it is, and I know it is easier, I just wish it was more fruit and veggies!

Be careful with popcorn, my mom is a pre school teacher and they are now saying that it is best to wait until kids are 5 before they eat popcorn.... gosh my dd was eating it at 1 1/2 years lol

Last year at kindergarten, the favorite snack in DD's class was pumpkin bread with mini chocolate chips in it. Very moist. Very yummy. There are recipes on the internet (allrecipes.com). For snacks I make them into muffins.

One time I also made one of DD's favorites - bread and butter - ha ha! Seriously, I took a slice of DD's favorite bread and put that in a baggie. I then added a little plastic cup of butter and a little plastic cup of strawberry jam and a plastic knife. The kids had to spread their own butter and they had a great time doing it!

Another hit was popcorn. I got a large supply of the striped popcorn bags at the party store in town. The night before hubby made a huge batch of popcorn and we loaded it into the bags. We taped them shut to the popcorn wouldn't fall out. The kids were thrilled! Except for buying the bags, the snack was very thrifty.

Jello jigglers
chex mix
popcicles (with teachers permission)
scooby gram crackers bones
bologna sandwiches
string cheese
