Okay, I thought we were safe...since I posted this, she hasn't done it again. Until last night!! She is daytime potty trained, but not night time. Well, apparentely before she fell asleep, she had to poop..and I wasn't up there...so bless her heart, she ended up pooping in the diaper, and then climbed out of the crib and came and told me!! BIG sigh. So, Daddy is going to see about a toddler bed today. We just can't swing buying a big girl bed right now.

My first 2 went into beds early. My oldest had a daybed in his room with the crib in case I ever needed to crash in there with him and by 16 months he wanted a bed and refused to sleep in his crib, so I put him in the day bed with one of those bed rail things. When he was 18 mos we bought him his big boy bed ( a bunk) and he slept on the bottom until his brother moved to a bed and he was moved to the top. My other son climed out of his crib at 19 mos. He would pull himself up to the rail and jump down I thought I was going to have a heart attack the first time I saw him do it. I put him back in the crib the 1st time he escaped to find out how he did it and I wished I had never seen how he did it. So he was moved to the bottom bunk in my older son's room, which was fine because baby #3 was going to be needing the crib 4 months from then. It will be interesting to see what my DD does. She's a year on Wednesday, so I figure if she's anything like my older 2 she'll figure her way out of the crib before Spring Break.

Thanks to a WONDERFUL MOMMY on this board, she is now sleeping in a "pincess" toddler bed. She will ASK to go "night night in my pincess bed". It is PRECIOUS. We also celebrated no more pacis the week after we moved her. It was PERFECT timing!
