I spoke with ds's teachers today. I told them what happenned this past weekend and I told them what we have been working on and asked if they noticed any problems. They said he is a very social boy and that all the boys kinda play together. They hadn't noticed him being singled out or anything like that. One of the teachers did say that she had noticed his stutter get carried away when he was excited but she knew (after twenty seven years in this gig) how to handle everything. She also thought that it would be a temporary thing and that he shoudl outgrow it. I felt reassured after talking with them.

I did, however, ask about testing and they told me to contact the board, so I may do that in the spring after we move to OKC, which is where he will be going to school in the fall.

I am very sensitive to things...so I do know that sometimes I let myself get carried away. But like someone had said, as a mom I wear my heart outside my body now so I am very protect of that!

My boys are everything to me and with one with a stutter and one just sick sick sick, I can't help but worry if there are goign to be further problems!!!

Thanks for listening girls. I am going to crawl back into bed. It is screaming my name/

Christy I so understand the desire to help, encourage, etc. your children. As you know, my middle son has some speech delays. I have been told they are not severe, but it gets so frustrating sometimes when I, his mother, does not understand what he is saying.

But, then I look at him and he is the most social child out there! The stuff that concerns us does not always concern them, I guess. Go figure. . .

Hope Ty feels better soon. I am glad we are better now!
