The title says it all. My 2 1/2yr. ds has been potty trained since 24mo. w/ the exception of a little dribble during the day and going at night. The last month or so I've noticed he'll poop in bed instead of going potty before bed. The only time he doesn't is when he has diarrhea (he was on antibiotics for 10 days). What should I do? He refuses to sit long enough to go poop or won't "try" to poop when he does sit. Need some advice. I feel like I'm back at square one w/ potty training.

does he have a certain place or time of day he goes regularly? My ds did when he potty trained him. For the first couple of days he pooped in his pants so after that I just took off his pants! I told him he was a big boy and we didn't poop in our pants. It worked and he has never pooped in his pants again. You could try this method..It worked for me!

Sounds good martin415- with my nephew we started and now have stopped (he was 24 months, REALLY interested but, then he wasn't) but, when we were- he has always gone poop alone in a corner (I know strange) so going on the potty was an effort because he wanted to be alone. So I started singing songs with him on the potty, If your happy and you know it, Itsie Bitsie Spider, and that kept his attention long enough to go. Good Luck!
