I guess we're going to pull her. Well, I'm paid up until the end of the month so I'll leave it open to her if she wants to go again but I don't think she will. She agreed to go this morning, my husband took her over and went inside with her for a few moments and she completely melted down when he went to leave. He brought her home. And she hung out with me all day. I could barely leave the room without her tailing along which is completely unlike her.

My husband talked a bit more to the teacher and she finally mentioned that my daughter when from the kid that sat in the front during circle time and answered all the questions to the kid that kept crying in the back and trying to lay down on the floor because she "was tired". So I'm a little ticked off as well. Why didn't anyone mention this to me?

Anyway, so I kept her at home today and we organized her toys and then went to see Grandma! I'll start working with her next week on studies. And I need to start figuring out times for her to see other kids. Today, I think she just needed to veg a bit. We'll probably even watch a movie tonight.

I just think she trusted the adults to care for her and she feels she didn't get that. Breaks my heart as I'm one of those adults.

I had to pull my DD out of preschool for different reasons that you but she has done fine. I ordered the same ABEKA program they used at her preschool and we do a lesson each day. She has done great. We plan lots of play dates and now we actually have time to just go to the park and play or visit her favorite musuem. Sometimes she will talk about her "old school" but she says she likes "mommy school" more. She plays soccer and kickball so she is still around other kids all the time and learning to take direction from someone other than her parents. I'm sure your DD will do great no matter what you decide to do.

Thank you -- we really have struggled with this decision.

If my child was having the same problems I would do the same thing. That is terrible.

I have a ton of homeschool websites. I can send them to you via email if you want.
