Parents magazine had this article online about 21 ways to enjoy being a mom, but I was wondering if we could do 79 better and make it a 100.

21 Ways to Enjoy Being a Mom - Parenting.com

What are little ways YOU enjoy being a mom or the little creative (or even not so creative) ways you have a really good time with your kids? Like the nudie scarf dancing, or making cookies, or whatever...

I'm sure I could use the new ideas!

Take a moment and instead of worry about the photo albums, housecleaning, chores ect. Sit with your child and just talk to them or read them a book.

My son loves when I play "cars" with him. We make a ramp out of a box or something and see how far we can launch the cars off of the coffee table. He has a great time and it makes me feel good to spend that special time with him.

Great idea for a thread by the way.

In the summer water fight with cups of water or water balloons.
Balloon volleyball
Sledding
Get on their level and play with them
Neighborhood sidewalk chalk art contest (we have done this)
Get the neighborhood together and play kick ball once a week
play beauty parlor (do each other's hair, nails, and makeup)
Animal charades (act like you are a certain animal and the others guess)

These are all great ideas! I'll have to remember the sidewalk chalk this spring/summer!

For me the best thing about being a mom is when my 19 month old runs to me, hugs me and says "I wah you" (which is supposed to be "I love you"). It makes me feel so good.

We snuggle every morning before getting out of bed. (both kids wander in around 7 and climb in bed with me (&dh on weekends) )

Dh takes breakfast duty one day a week and I love to lay in bed listening to them play and make breakfast together!
