Default Easy Ups - do they need to be gender specific?

My husband bought the boy's easy ups when I sent him to the store. I use them for night time and hoping they won't leak for my daughter. Is there a huge difference in the padding?

No idea! Good question though. I know that there is a difference with where the urine goes from a boy verus a girl. I would check the website. But chances are its just the design.

One of my daycare parents accidently bought the girl package for their son. They worked fine for him once he got over the fit of having Cinderella!

My DS will put his pull-up on backwards. It still works for him. He wears them at night and he tries to put them on by himself. I just let it go because I like him being more independent. I have tried to show him the right way, but it usually doesn't matter.

Thank you for your replies! I didn't want to send him back out in the freezing rain for the girl's easy ups.

My oldest DS picked girl ones one time and they worked fine, and my oldest DD picked boy ones one time and they worked fine. So I think for the most part that they are the same like diapers are, just different characters and such to be more gender specific.

That is so funny that you posted this because I JUST got back from CVS where I bought the girl version of pullups for ds because they were out of the boy ones in his size and I wanted to get that $15 back deal before the week was over. It didn't even occur to me that they might be designed differently! He is only 2 so I am hoping the pink ones won't be a big deal to him. We put one on him and he said "now I am a BEAUTIFUL princess" so all I have to worry about now is that his dad doesn't hear him say that!!!

Have you ever used the easy ups before? I bought those Diego ones once for ds and the sides disentegrated so quickly that within a couple of hours they had split apart. I may have just gotten a bad batch, but I never bought them again.

Oh my!! That is too cute. My husband doesn't like our girls running around in tutus, I can't imagine how he'd be with a boy. My oldest doesn't have school today, immediate tutu time.

I've been switching between the overnight pullups and easyups. My 2 year old is such a skinny little thing, the easy ups seem to stay on better. I was having good luck with the pullups but all the sudden, they were doing what you described, falling apart before morning. I never had any problem with my oldest.
