I'm cutting my little girl some slack because she is getting over being sick w/a sinus infection, but having her cry every time we tell her no is very wearing. If I tell her I can't understand her, she can stop crying on a dime long enough to talk normally. I'm also telling her that crying will not change my no to a yes.

I'm ready to just pop ear plugs in.

Yes! My oldest will be 5 next month.

I do the same thing, I tell her that crying isn't going to get her way.

My dd is more of a crier than I am, but thankfully she's not too bad. It would drive me insane if she cried all the time.

My oldest DD has always been able to turn on the tears easily, she is 12 now and still tries it once in a while but I'm so used to that I can just ignore it.
