Hi everyone-

I just thought I'd give you an update. The lead teacher called me at work on Friday because she had been told that I had some concerns. What a great conversation!!

As far as the pee pee shirt she said it was her fault. She had placed it inside my daughter's backpack because she thought we took our backpacks home everyday. I told her we rarely took them home unless the kids insisted on wearing them for some reason which is hardly ever.

We talked about the poo poo undies. She said that normally they try to get rid as much of it as possible, then rinse them with water and then wrap them up in the glove and then also inside a tied bag. I told her that nothing had been removed from the undies and that they weren't in a glove. She was surprised by that and she told me that she would talk to the other teachers...one of which was very new. She said that the teachers said that it was a rather "pasty" BM and difficult to clean up. I told her that if they were ever like that then they should just throw the undies away...that I didn't want them back.

We also decided that she would place all dirty clothes on top of the kids cubby and that I would just check that everyday for any clothes that needed to be picked up.

The incorrect reports were corrected a few weeks ago whenI brought that to their attention -- so I"m happy there.

It was such a great conversation....I don't get to talk to this teacher because she's there early (my dh does the drop off) and is already gone when I pick the kids up. She said that every room/teacher does things a little bit different and that when they move up to the next room that I should just have a conversation with the new teachers so we are all on the same page.

So...I'm a happy camper once again. I also have a parent-teacher conference for this coming Friday. It's amazing what a little communication can accomplish, isn't it?

Thought you guys would like to know.

Have a great weekend!
Susan

I'm glad you feel better about the situation. I know how stressful it is to have your children in a place that you aren't happy with. Glad it all worked out.

I am very happy for you. It sounds like the lead teacher really cares about you and your child! They are normally the cream of the crop; Normally the ones that work there because they care about the kids, not the pay check!
