My sons didn't use theirs very much. By age 4 it wasn't being used at all. By age 5½ I sold it at a consignment shop. It was too much money for something that wasn't used very often.

We have the Toys R Us brand pink jeep and it's not worth the $$. It will not run at all in the grass, and barely will run on the sidewalk/street.

Cheesecake Lady, your post made me laugh. I know it wasn't intended, but it sounds like the kids' get to one-up each other on the makes of their cars at this age. Next will be the Porsche and BMW! Cute.

I love the picture on the other post of where the kid hauls the laundry basket to the line. That is wonderful!

My dh wanted to get one for my son, who is now six, but it was never in the budget (we REALLY need to find the money for a swingset!). However, I'm thinking that if we get one for dd next year, he can help enjoy it.
