The past couple weeks my 4 yr old has been picky about her clothes. Today she didn't want to wear a shirt because it has a pocket. UGGG. Anyone else have a little one who is picky about clothes?

My oldest has a "preppy" style and has since he was able to voice an opinion about his clothes. He doesn't care for jeans and loves button down shirts but will wear t-shirts. He almost always tucks his shirts in. He's a cutie! My other kids don't care what they wear.

My 3 year old almost always insists on wearing a "princess" dress...which is basically just any dress in her closet. Occasionally I can get shorts and a tank top or something on her, but it's rare!

Nope The other day I bought my dd a huge bag of clothes at a yard sale. I was excited and wanted to show her the clothes. She rolled her eyes and said, "Mom they are just clothes ."

If DD had her way, she would wear dresses or skirts with a t-shirt every day. She's very girly.

DS is only 19mo and could care less right now.

Yeah, my 5 yr old dd hates any shoes and would prefer to run around in just her underwear and a t-shirt. In fact everytime we go somewhere the first thing she does is kick off those shoes and she usually asks if she can take her pants/shorts off.

She also will not where any pants or shorts that have to be buttoned, like jeans. She complains that the button cuts into her tummy and hurts so I can only get her to where the stretch pants. And if she is wearing a long sleeve shirt and gets hot she simply wants to take it off as she can't stand to push the sleeves up.

She also complains that any kind of pants/shorts at all give her a wedgie and that bothers her fiercely, thus the reason for taking them off. (When she starts in whining about not being able to take them off we just tell everyone to look out, the wicked wedgie woman is on the loose again!)

The rest of my kids could careless about what they wear. Clothes definetly don't make them. Heck I have alot of times that my boys are perfectly content to wear the same clothes for weeks on end and a fight comes to play just to get them to let mom wash what they have on. --"What's the point, they're just going to get dirty anyway and then you have to waste precious water and electricity to get them clean, and for what......so they can get dirty again?" Kids!!!

My dd has tried to be picky with me a couple of times but I get firm with her when she does.
