Even if it takes you a whole week, don't give up, stick with it. But do try and put some food in her. Good luck and again stay strong.
Thanks for the encourgement. I let her go this long because she had a sensitive gag reflex and couldn't keep much food down for the longest time. I gave her formula up until 18 months.

She eats 2 cups of yobaby yogurt a day, that is her only dairy other than milk. So far I can't get her to eat cheese in any form. Luckily she LOVES yogurt.

Will she eat cream cheese? I know it's a form of cheese, but it's one of the tricks I used to make sure Liam had enough dairy. He would eat a cream cheese and fruit spread sandwich or whole grain waffle. He still eats them occasionally, like right now which made me think of this. Also, the drinkable yogurts. If she eats yogurt, then maybe she would be willing to drink a yogurt once a day too.
What else worked was giving him milk in a glass and helping him to take gulps like a big boy, messy but it helped and he would take bigger gulps that way. Now he uses the take and toss straw cups and seems to drink more milk from those, a straw allows bigger gulps than a sippy cup (we're actually completely off sippy cups because of teeth)

Thanks, I will try cream cheese. She is so resistant to anything new though.

My oldest drinks out of the take & toss straw cups, too. I do give her a glass at mealtime.

I'll try a glass with her this evening. Thanks for the suggestion!

no problem Also, I forgot before, if she really is resistant to milk no matter what, Trader Joe's sells a juice called Dynamo Juice. It is full of vitamins and calcium and is a mix of fruit juices. My friend whose son barely eats, drinks Dynamo Juice every day and his ped says it is a good replacement for milk in these situations. Hopefully you have a TJ's by you...

She seems to be over not having a bottle. However, she is still not drinking any milk. She says 'No, yucky' or 'No thanks'.
