I hate stuffed animals! There are so many of them. It's like they're breeding in there! I have ones for my daughter -- I have ones for my son -- I have ones that were mine! We even have a couple of my husbands.

Anyone else have any dislikes?

Of all things crayons and coloring books. My oldest dd already has tons of these and does not need any more.

I am not really one to dislike anything that they are given, because I do really, really appreciate that people give things to my kids. I just really hate that my sister puts absolutely no thought into her gifts. To me it seems that she just sends whatever because she is obligated.

You are right and I do appreciate people giving my children gifts. I do think my MIL could put more thought into it than a coloring book.

This made me laugh! I was thinking about your mom getting mad about throwing away a Barbie, lol.

I do appreciate that people give the boys gifts, but when I see something is from the dollar store I cringe--my rough little guys break dollar store toys so quickly. Some times they are thrown away the next day because they are already broken.

Play MakeUp- I HATE (okay greatly dislike) that stuff!!! It stains everything and if it has glitter in it, it's everywhere! They make it in such horribly bright colors that if your child is left alone with it too long, next thing you know she is coming down the stairway looking like a Rodeo clown or you could probably enter her in a Tammy Faye Baker look alike contest. The fingernail polish that comes with those play makeup kits is horrible too. I used to warn my relatives not to buy that stuff for her on holidays or birthdays. My MIL would buy it out of spite and i think she looked for the one with the ugliest colors too, last time she did that, i told dd to go ahead and open it and try it out right there at Grandma's!! Nasty, nasty stuff!

I agree with stuffed animals and cheap playsets with a million pieces. I dislike cheap dollar store toys also.
