How many people have children graduating from preschool this month?

My youngest will be done next week. In the fall she will start preK at a private school (here the cirriculum is different, more structured, and more educational than preschool).

My oldest graduated from preschool this week. It was so super cute. They had little graduation hats and Pomp and Circumstance was playing. The kids sang several cute songs, mostly religious, and said The Lord's Prayer before getting their diplomas. There was an ice cream social afterwards. I've been very impressed with our preschool.

Mine finished preschool last week. He will attend a summer kindergarten program starting in July and move into full kindergarten in September. Yahoo!!!! I am so glad to have them all in school (for the first time in 22 years I do not have a little one!!!)

My youngest graduated earlier today. The program was cute and sad! She will be going into Kindergarten at the public school this upcoming school year (I think our school is pretty decent)!

Nothing wrong with a good public school, I wish we had one!

Ds is not technically a preschooler, but he's in Montessori that goes from 1st years (age 3) to K (age 5-6). So he will be graduating from that class and next year going into the 1-3 grade class!

It is such a dramatic difference, since now he's the oldest and next year he'll be among 6-9 year olds!

His graduation isn't until June 2nd. The 2nd years (who will be in K next year) are providing refreshments so we don't have to bother with that, and one mom is bringing in pizza after school for lunch because graduation is at 1:00.

We are having a party here for him - his birthday is in the winter and we never can have family parties for him in the nice weather so I wanted to take advantage of the situation! I've invited his teachers as well.

Oh and they are giving a SPEECH, individually, in the auditorium, in front of all the K's in their class and their families! I thought it would be a few line blurb, but it's a whole page!! We've been practicing every night!
