my dd is 2 and she recently has decided she needs all 3 blankets, and she checks! Now that it is getting warm. I would rather her not like blankets and just dress her warmer. I'm always thinking she's sweating in there. I check her before I go to bed and always take a couple off.

Oh my! I would rather dress her warmer, too. I put long sleeve/pant PJs on my daughter. She sleeps through the night so I guess she is comfortable.

Ds, 6, just started using a lightweight quilt last winter. The child is very capable in other matters, but never would pull the quilt up if he was cold previously. Just a few weeks ago he told me he was cold and pulled his quilt on!
