I wish I had the answer for you...Same here. I just constantly put different balms on diva day and night. If it tastes good, of course she wants to lick it. If it tastes bad, she licks it to come off. With DS, once he was old enough, I gave him his own balm to put on whenever he wanted to. He got to choose the flavor, and that was good. But with Diva being two and pulling out her devil horns often, she doesn't get the privilege of having her own anytime yet (though she'd love it!). I even had lotion and cream for her eczema, because around her mouth is one of the first places she breaks out if she'd getting a case of eczema or a cold/wheezing/allergies coming on. She still licks that stuff off.

Our daycare provider recomended Carmex for my son's bad chapped lips and skin around them, and it works great. Most drugstores have it, near the regular chapstick. It comes in a tube or a pot.
