Every child is different and so is every parent. If you need time for yourself make sure you children have "quiet time." This will give you atleast 30-45 mins. if not longer to breathe, blog, etc.

Good luck with your schedule.

I'm so jealous...My 2 1/2 year old decided not to take naps anymore at 2--maybe just before. Of course, we did move around a bunch last summer.

My younger kids are 4 (almost 5) and 2 1/2. The 2 1/2 year old always took a 2 hour nap until a few weeks ago. My 4 yr old gave up naps around 2 also.

Both of my kids nap for at least 2.5 hours every day. Plus they go to bed by 7 every night and are up at 730 in the morning. My DS is 16 months old and my DD is 3 yrs 4 mo old. Some days she doesn't sleep, but boy can I see a difference in her attitude if she doesn't. The days that she doesn't sleep she has to stay in her room, on her bed, reading quietly so that she doesn't disturb her brother's nap and so Mommy gets the quiet time she needs.

My DS is 2 1/2 and he has 3-4 hour naps everyday. He has an afternoon nap just after lunch and sleeps until an hour or so before dinner and then he goes to bed around 8-8:30.

My DD is 14 months and she has a morning nap for 1-2 hours and then sometimes an afternoon nap for 1 1/2 hours. She goes to bed at 7:30-8.

My Jared is 4 and goes to bed at 8 and is usually up by 7 and I try to have him take some sort of nap daily - if only to rest. He gets wired/goofy when he doesn't get enough sleep. It usually doesn't matter what time he goes to bed he will get up at the same time.

Mags she goes to sleep and wakes up whenever Jared is too loud. She could easily take a 2-3 hour nap daily - if Jared would let her.
