When my dd was a toddler/preschooler, she was terrified of bugs, auto-flush toilets, and thunderstorms. She's 9 now and although she doesn't scream and cry about these things like she used too, she's still not very thrilled with any of them.

Those auto flush toilets are evil, aren't they? The one at the local McDonald's is especially bad ... it just keeps flushing and flushing. My daughter hates that one.

My daughter was never a big fan of bugs. My husband blames me -- he might be right.

That's funny. The Burger King guy creeps me out in those commercials.

My oldest dd is 9 and has always been afraid of loud noises like thunder and fireworks. My 7yr old dd is afraid of being upstairs alone (especially at night) and my 22 month old is afraid of the vacuum cleaner and the blender.

My dd is two and she is DEATHLY afraid of spiders. I think it's my fault. My older ones are 5 and 7, and they really aren't scared of anything that I can think of. I remember my brother when he was a kid was phobic about the Unsolved Mysteries theme song.
