Last year my youngest (3 at the time) would cling to me like a monkey at the swimming pool. She would scream and cry if you even mentioned setting her down in the water where she can stand on her own without any problems

Yesterday we went for the first time this summer, and she did great. She went down a small slide a few times. She walked all over all by herself (we obviously didn't go into the deep end). She still wouldn't put her face in the water, but I was so proud of her.
