Did your child enjoy the fireworks or were they bored or scared?

This was the first year we took the boys. Bob LOVED them and kept calling it "candy sprinkles." Jamie just wanted to sit in the backseat in his car seat. I think he would have liked it, but he was just tired. We weren't planning on going because it is way past their bedtime, but I talked dh into taking us last minute. I am so glad we did.

We missed them this year. Too many fires here in California so we skipped them.

We didnt bother going. My 5 year old hates them. We just watched on tv and they were happy with that, no loud booms.

Riley slept through them. We were camping and he was all tuckered out by the time that the fire works started.

My diva, almost 3, absolutely loved them. Her brother, 8, thought they were boring. That boy's getting an attitude, I tell ya.

My boys all really liked them. A few of them were a little too loud, but over all it was worth the hassle of wrangling all three of them by myself to go see them. I liked them too.

Oldest DS loved them. DD got bored, her and my neice said "we can see them next year" and went inside to play Barbies . Youngest DS was scared, he never cried and kind of put up with them.

My dd loved them. She was clapping and saying "yeah" the whole time. We went with my neighbors to their parent's "farm" to watch and shoot off, their little girl who's 3 was scared until she saw my dd having so much fun then she wasn't so much scared, but still covered her ears most of the time.

My kids (5,3,2) LOVE them! For the 4th, the lake associate does them so we get to watch them from the boat with them practically right over us. It's very cool! We have to go under a bridge to get there and the kids love that part too. They put up tiki torches to light the way under the bridge in the dark.
